๐——๐—˜๐—ฃ๐—œ๐—–๐—ง is a tool that translates images into structured, usable prompts. It doesnโ€™t invent. It doesnโ€™t embellish. It looks closely, then describes what it sees in a way machinesโ€”and humansโ€”can actually work with.

Use it as a tool to understand how AI deconstructs an image. Use it for meta-tagging content. Use it to power your AI generated images and videos. Use it generate alt text for accessibility (like I did with the attached images). Let's make the internet inclusive like that.

The interesting part tho, is ๐˜ฉ๐˜ฐ๐˜ธ it was made.

Iโ€™m not a programmer. But Iโ€™m also not new to code. I learned to program on a Commodore 64. Later, I built interactive systems using Lingo in MacroMind Director. Over time, my career moved into art direction and creative direction, and I relied on developers to execute the systems I imagined.

That shift didnโ€™t erase my understanding of code but it did set it on a backburner.

With ๐——๐—˜๐—ฃ๐—œ๐—–๐—ง, that backburner went from low to medium-high. Using ๐—š๐—ผ๐—ผ๐—ด๐—น๐—ฒ'๐˜€ ๐—”๐—ป๐˜๐—ถ๐—ด๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐˜ƒ๐—ถ๐˜๐˜† paired with ๐—–๐—น๐—ฎ๐˜‚๐—ฑ๐—ฒ ๐—–๐—ผ๐—ฑ๐—ฒ and ๐—ข๐—ฝ๐˜‚๐˜€ ๐Ÿฐ.๐Ÿฑ, I could describe behavior, intent, edge cases, and structure in plain languageโ€”and have the system generate working code in response. I reviewed it. I questioned it. I broke it. I fixed it. I pushed it to Git. The important part: ๐˜ ๐˜ค๐˜ฐ๐˜ถ๐˜ญ๐˜ฅ ๐˜ณ๐˜ฆ๐˜ข๐˜ฅ ๐˜ช๐˜ต. The code was clean, legible (thanks to annotations), and aligned with how I think about systems.

This is ๐˜ท๐˜ช๐˜ฃ๐˜ฆ ๐˜ค๐˜ฐ๐˜ฅ๐˜ช๐˜ฏ๐˜จ. Coined by Andrej Karpathy on Feb 6th 2025, as a way to characterize a loose interplay between coder and LLM. Love or hate the term, it synthesizes the phenomenon fairly well. And that phenomenon has blown up and found its stride since the introduction of ๐—”๐—ป๐˜๐—ต๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐—ฝ๐—ถ๐—ฐ'๐˜€ ๐—ข๐—ฝ๐˜‚๐˜€ ๐Ÿฐ.๐Ÿฑ in November of 2025. Itโ€™s not about skipping rigor. Itโ€™s about collapsing the distance between an idea and a prototype. Between creative intent and functional software. Between someone who understands systems and someone who traditionally needed assistance to build them.

๐——๐—˜๐—ฃ๐—œ๐—–๐—ง exists because the distance between idea and execution is now short enough to hop over. This isnโ€™t a replacement for developers. Itโ€™s not โ€œno-code.โ€ Itโ€™s closer to sketching with structure. Talking through a system and watching it take formโ€”then shaping it with taste, judgment, and iteration.

For creatives, designers, and directors whoโ€™ve always lived close to code but not inside it, this changes whatโ€™s possible. Not someday. Now.
